Very good Mex-Tex style food. Portions were large and the food was excellent. Corn chips and drinks are constently refilled! I recommend the burritos. The burrito is nearly enough for lunch and dinner.
I had a great experience at this restaurant; the food was very well-seasoned and came in generous portions. The drink was delicious and refreshing. The waiter provided us with excellent service. It is definitely a place I will return to often.
GLORIOUS!!! I was just driving down the road in search of ice coffee, when I saw this place boasting "authentic Mexican food". We'll see about this... I was greeted and served immediately. Within 15 seconds I had chips, salsa and a glass of good-tasting water in front of me. The menu was deep and wide, and included a rare gem... the elusive Chori Pollo! The food was served within 8 minutes of ordering, and was served on a plate hot enough to fry eggs on. The chori pollo was tasty - a flavor combination that delicately balanced both meats, with the cheese presenting the perfect catalyst of trifecto Heaven. The beans were perfect (not the gray watered-down rendition that the unaware cannot discern), the rice was light and fluffy, yet not dry at all. The warm flour tortillas were fresh and spongy. The salsa kicked a little compared to typical Virginian tastes, but was flavorful and unique. The chips were fresh and strong enough to hold my practice of mixing beans, rice and salsa. The restrooms were immaculate, the atmosphere was charming, and the staff welcomed me into their Chori Pollo family as if I was raised with them. I ordered two more servings to bring to my family, despite a long drive home, because this was just that good. Where else could I secure three amazing meals for less than 40??? Nowhere else. This was truly a GLORIOUS meal!!! I shall return!!!
My family and I have been coming to Jaripeo since we moved to Culpeper. The food and service here are incredible!! Best Mexican food in all of Culpeper.
This place is great. Definitely no longer a secret spot, but that's okay because everybody deserves good Mexican food. Their lunch menu for price and quality can't be beat. There's more than a few choices in Culpeper for decent Mexican but this place is right up there with the top. The drink menu is also decent with some great margaritas.
Ordered lunch-special and regular order of beef and chicken fajitas. Lunch special fajitas don’t come sizzling but were still fresh. Large margaritas. Friendly staff and nice atmosphere.

In my personal opinion, best Mexican food in Culpeper! I've lived in Culpeper for 9 years and I've never had a bad meal here ever. The beer is always cold The margaritas are awesome and the food is excellent.The staff is friendly and the restaurant & bathrooms are clean! If you're passing through Culpeper I highly recommend stopping!
